I instruct the UCLA Color Guard, teaching equipment technique, movement, performance, and choreography to all levels of experienced members, and I design multiple productions for the marching band each fall season. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCLA in 2022, where I performed with the UCLA Color Guard for four years and was a member of Kappa Kappa Psi, Psi Class. I also marched SCVC during the 2022 season, an experience that broadened my perspective on performance excellence and instructional practices within the drum corps activity.
I am currently pursuing my teaching credential in Social Science, English, and Spanish, reflecting my commitment to education both inside and outside the performing arts. My teaching philosophy is rooted in creating a structured, inclusive, and engaging environment where students feel supported as they develop technical skills, confidence, discipline, and leadership. I believe color guard is a powerful avenue for personal growth, and I strive to equip every performer with the tools and mindset to succeed both on the performance floor and beyond.
