Our Process

1) Initial Request

We know that each individual event or project is unique. Please click the “Book Us” button above to reach out to our office. We ask that you provide as much information as possible, knowing that some details may still be unknown or subject to change.

2) Planning

After reviewing your information, a member of our band staff will reach out to discuss the specifics of your request, including any associated rates/fees.

(Please note: All members of the UCLA Marching Band are active students. Our availability may be impacted by the academic calendar or other University factors)

3) Site Visit

If the situation allows and a site visit would be helpful in the planning process (e.g., staging, space, layout), we will coordinate with your staff.

4) Performance

Our staff will confirm the event details before the performance. On the day of the event, a member of the band staff will accompany the ensemble to coordinate logistics.

How much does it cost to hire the band?

Performance fees vary depending on the ensemble size, duration of the performance, and travel requirements. Once you fill out the “Hire the Band” contact form, our staff will provide a customized estimate for your event.

How much space does the band need to perform?

Factors including available facility space, type of performance, duration, music, and instrumentation will impact the size of the band. We will work with you to determine the most appropriate group size for your event.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Please reach out to us as early as possible so we may work with you to plan logistics, operations, and availability. (We understand that certain events may occur unexpectedly or with little lead time)
